Snorre Christiansen

Snorre Christiansen is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oslo. His research focuses on numerical analysis, particularly finite element methods and their mathematical foundations. He works on structure-preserving discretizations that maintain geometric and topological properties of continuous problems.

His contributions to finite element exterior calculus have advanced our understanding of how discrete approximations can preserve essential features of differential equations.
