About
Kurusch Ebrahimi-Fard is Professor of Mathematics at NTNU in Trondheim. His research connects algebraic combinatorics, stochastic calculus, and the mathematical foundations of numerical analysis. He is a leading expert on Hopf algebras in physics and their applications to renormalization, rough path theory, and numerical methods.
His work on combinatorial Hopf algebras has revealed deep connections between seemingly disparate areas—from quantum field theory to numerical analysis of differential equations.
